n
n
n
n     Imagine holding a coin that predates the American Revolution… a coin that was hidden away for centuries, and only recently rediscovered.
n
n    These Pillar Dollar 8 Reales were minted between 1741 and 1759, decades before the Revolutionary War. Recently discovered during a historic excavation/renovation project, a hoard of just 350 coins was found either buried in the ground or concealed in a wall, where they remained hidden for over 260 years. The exact location cannot yet be confirmed, perpetuating this historical mystery.
n
n    The hoard is remarkably fresh. Each coin has been certified by NGC and designated excavation recovery UNCIRCULATED, an incredible level of preservation for coins that spent centuries hidden away. This is impressive because Pillar 8 Reales were well trusted in the colonies and were garnered legal tender status until 1857. The are America’s first Silver Dollar in circulation. They were heavily circulated and many are beyond well-worn today. Uncirculated Pillar Dollars like these are unheard of.
n
n   📖 A Historic Coin
nThe Pillar 8 Reales holds a special place in numismatic history — it is the very first coin listed in the Red Book Guide to US Coins, the famous reference guide known as “The Bible of U.S. Coins.”

n
n🕰️ Why Were These Coins Hidden? Theories Include:
n
n⚔️ French & Indian War Fear
nThe original owner may have hidden their wealth to prevent seizure from the wrong side during the French and Indian War (1754–1763).

n
n🎖️ General Braddock’s Lost Payroll?
nThere is a long-standing mystery that British General Edward Braddock buried several wagonloads of payroll intended for his troops. Could these coins be part of that legendary lost treasure?

n
n🏴‍☠️ Pirate or Spanish Galleon Treasure?
nAnother possibility: the coins were taken from a Spanish galleon sailing back to Spain and later hidden by pirates or treasure hunters.

n
n
n
n🔎 The Mystery Remains…
n
n     With only 350 coins in this hoard, each example represents a tangible piece of colonial-era history and one of the most intriguing numismatic discoveries tied to early North America.
n
n A coin, A mystery, Over two and a half centuries old.
n
n So let the mystery unfold as you own a piece of this history.

n*Here is what Excavation recovery uncirculated means: All these coins were uncirculated when they were stashed 260 years ago and obviously time and the elements from being buried so long have taken their toll on them. Some of them are toned and some show signs of a little corrosion along the edges, but the overall details are unbelievable considering the technology they had in the 1700sRead More

2025 5 Oz Gilded Silver Honey Bee

The gilded silver coin celebrates the Australian Honey bee (Apis mellifera). Struck from five ounces of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the partially gold-plated design features a honeycomb, flowers and five bees. Inside the honeycomb is the inscription “HONEY BEE”. The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III as well as the weight, the fineness, the face value and the year of issue.
n
nThe honeybee, scientifically known as “Apis mellifera”, is one of the best known and most widespread bee species in the world. It plays a crucial role in the pollination of crops and wild plants and thus makes a significant contribution to maintaining biodiversity and securing food production. Despite their important role, honey bees are under threat worldwide. Factors such as the use of pesticides, the loss of habitats, diseases and parasites such as the Varroa mite are severely affecting bee populations. The protection and promotion of honey bees is therefore of the utmost importance for the maintenance of our ecosystem and our food security. Before the honey bee was introduced from Europe in 1822, there were no native honey bees in Australia for commercial use. Some 2,000 species of bees are now native to the red continent and have pollinated a large proportion of crops there, supporting Australia’s horticultural and agricultural industries and creating jobs. The 5 oz gilded Honey Bee silver coin is limited to only 400 pieces and is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity. You can call this coin yours for just $3,050!

Gold Daric – from the Persian Empire

The gold Daric, a shimmering emblem of wealth from the Persian Empire, emerged during the reign of King Darius I in the late 6th century BC. This exquisite coin, weighing about 8.4 grams of roughly .9583 pure gold, was not just currency but a symbol of power and prestige. On one side, it showcased the image of the Persian King armed with a bow & arrow, while the reverse featured miscellaneous symbols, reflecting the empire’s grandeur.
n
n
nThe Daric was a game-changer for trade, weaving a tapestry of economic stability and cultural exchange across the vast reaches of the Persian empire. Its iconic design and widespread acceptance made it one of the earliest gold coins to leave a lasting legacy. Their use ended with Alexander the Great’s invasion in 330 BC; after which they were mostly melted down and recoined as Alexander the Great Gold Staters, making this group of Gold Darics even more desirable. A true treasure of antiquity, the gold Daric dazzled the ancient world and continues to captivate historians and collectors alike!

2025 FIRST EVER Silver Sovereign

The Sovereign is a ¼ oz. gold coin and has been around for over 500 years. It has been the most widely accepted gold coin in the world.
n
nThe Royal Mint’s Sovereign coin has a rich history that dates back to 1489, when Henry VII gave personal authority for the production of a new coin made in gold . The coin would be the largest issued in England at that time and was to be called a ‘Sovereign’, deliberately suggesting a close association with the king.
n
nThe Sovereign is one of The Royal Mint’s flagship coins, it’s history, beauty and worldwide liquidity making it deserving of its status as the “Chief Coin of the World”.
n
nThis coin bares Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic St. George slaying the dragon design. This has remained on the Sovereign for over 200 years. The design represents the triumph of good over evil, a popular theme since the 12th century. The dragon symbolizes evil, and St. George is a symbol of chivalry, knighthood, national pride, and valor. It’s considered one of the most renowned reverse designs in the world.
n
nThis is the first time The Royal Mint has ever struck a silver Sovereign. The silver Sovereign is identical in diameter and weight of the gold version.
n
nThis coin is certified First Day of Issue and is graded perfect Proof 70. This coin also boasts a shield privy mark that celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Hanoverian Royal Arms design.
n
nThe label is signed by Martin Jennings, the master engraver of King Charles’ portrait.
