The series is dedicated to South Africa’s impressive wildlife. The animals known as the “Big Five” are emblems and ambassadors of this culturally rich country.

The inscription “South Africa” and the South African coat of arms are also part of the design. The reverse features two halves of each animal, creating a full close-up portrait when two coins are placed side by side. If several coins with the same motive are placed next to each other, a whole pack is visible. The complete set of the Big Five. Series is limited to only 500 sets worldwide. The set is delivered in the noble original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the South African Mint.
