Spanish Pillar Dollars
$1,995.00
The Pillar Dollar is America’s First Silver Dollar and the first coin listed in the Red Book guide to U.S coins. These coins were found during an excavation project last year, discovering about 350 uncirculated Pillar Dollars ranging from the years 1737-1755. These magnificent coins feature Crowned Globes flanked by Pillars on the front, and the reverse design displays the Spanish crown and the great shield of Habsburg which has the lions of Leon in the castles of Castile.
Each coin comes with a presentation case and a fact sheet that gives all of the details of the history of Pillar Dollar as America’s First Silver. Included will also be a copy of page 726 from the journals of Continental Congress that deems Pillar Dollars as legal tender. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to own this spectacular historic coin and call today!
